Job Description

The successful applicant will be responsible for interpreting regulatory documents, applying complex business rules, importing into a database based on specific criteria, applying technical solutions to problem solving, communicate with customers in the market data sector globally.


  • Data sourcing, discovery and analytics using ETL (Extract, Transform & Load) and proprietary business tools
  • Creation of models and reports providing interpretation and insight into business data
  • Extraction of compliance requirements from exchange documentation
  • Data processing and data mapping
  • Communicating complex business rules to clients
  • Issue identification and analysis
  • Hands on analytics and application of data science
  • Writing SQL statements to query the data

Skills and Qualifications Required:

  • Third level qualifications (Business, Finance, or IT related fields)
  • Effective Communication skills (both verbal and written) essential
  • Experience of preparing and delivering documentation detailing outcomes of technical processes to a wide-ranging audience
  • Strong skills in SQL, MS Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Being able to work as part of a team but taking initiative to work alone
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, highly numerate with the ability to solve complex problems
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize work and manage time to maximize efficiency and to meet strict deadlines

Experience in a financial organization an advantage.
