Financial Administrator – The Netherlands

Job Description Financial Administrator

The Finance team at TRG Screen is responsible for supporting the growth and enhancing the company's general accounting and financial operations. They are responsible for all day-to-day Financial Planning & Analysis and Accounting activities, optimal reporting, governance, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and decision making. TRG Screen is growing rapidly and to support this growth, our Netherlands office is looking for a Financial Administrator for our branch in 's-Hertogenbosch where you work together with 35 other colleagues for all Screen Group of entities.

TRG Screen is looking for an experienced and passionate Financial Administrator who can work both independently to develop and execute against plans, and as a team player who works well with cross-functional teams and external partners. This is a hands-on role and needs solid understating of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and accounting systems. The ultimate goal of the Financial Administrator is to implement best-in-class processes and procedures and act as a critical member to support the financial reporting functionality. The role will report directly to the Controller based in New York (HQ) and will closely work with the local and the global finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Play critical role for monthly and annual close process including audit, while continuing to innovate to improve on effectiveness and efficiency
  • Assist in consolidation
  • Day-to-Day general ledger accounting
  • Payroll accounting
  • Verify calculation and booking of Commission and Bonus journals
  • Maintaining fixed asset records and monthly depreciation journals
  • Accounts Payable responsibilities
  • VAT filing – liaise with foreign third-party accountants and consultants
  • Reporting of A/R and A/P aging. Frequent follow ups with customers
  • Processing corporate credit card transactions, records of receipts, invoices
  • Prepare and Analyze monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Assistance with ERP implementation
  • Provide critical support to Assistant Controller for revenue recognition, customer billings and project accounting
  • Complete the ad hoc requests as assigned by the Controller and CFO


  • Bachelor’s degree or level in Accounting
  • 3-4 years of experience in roles directly related to general ledger accounting
  • Experience in consolidation
  • Clear understanding of Dutch GAAP standards and procedures
  • Experience with US GAAP and Twinfield is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; fluency in Dutch and English
  • Proficient with all MS Office applications
  • Advanced expertise in Excel
  • Ability to multitask and manage several projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Self-motivated, independent but also a team player, detailed oriented, strong work ethic and high integrity
