DKF 2022 - Back and better than ever

After 2 years of virtual events, DKF is back and better than ever. The event kicked off with an evening reception on May 17th at the Franziskaner, where guests enjoyed an evening of cocktails, schnitzel, and networking.

Reshaping the financial world after the pandemic 🚀

On May 18th, 2022, the 12th D-A-CH Congress for Financial Information took place at the Sofitel Munich Bayerpost. The theme of this year’s conference was "Reshaping the financial world after the pandemic. De-centralization and de-institutionalization of financial services".

The day was filled with networking with industry leaders, presentations by leading scientists & practitioners, discussion rooms & panels on key industry topics. Bloomberg opened the event with a keynote speech on ESG, this was followed by further exclusive keynotes from global market leaders & researchers.

With 1200+ registrations, 45 exhibitors, 3 panel discussions, 1 roundtable and 30 lectures across 5 subject areas; (1) Market Data Products & Solutions, (2) Reference Data Management & Feeds, (3) Investment & Portfolio Management Trends, (4) Fintech Offerings & Technological Developments, and (5) Sustainable Finance (ESG) - the event was once again the largest meeting place for the financial information industry worldwide.

Panel discussions 🗣

The theme of the first panel discussion moderated by Evert-Jan ten Brundel from TRG Screen was “how did the pandemic help our industry to accelerate new data services and technology?”, discussed by Stefan Weichert from Forrs, Milton Davison from Helaba Invest, Alex Wolff from Rimes and Andrea Kreuder-Brühl from Commerzbank.

The second panel; Mike Bournes from Euronext, Paul Bhatt from ICE Data Services, Stephen Veasey from 3d Innovations, Ruben Perera from The Mexican Stock Exchange and Marc Berthoud from SIX Swiss Exchange discussed "what user-oriented technology will disrupt the market data industry in the next years?" which was moderated by Dr. Stefan Wilhelm from financial.com.

Lastly, the third panel discussion moderated by Dr. Alexis Eisenhofer from financial.com gave an outlook on “ESG preferences - risk and return”. This topic was explored by Dr. Ann-Charlotte Eliasson from Nasdaq, Prof. Dr. Christian Schmitt from Index Intelligence, Wiebke Merbeth from Bayerinvest, Don Huff from Bloomberg and Dr. Wolfgang Dietl from ID.

DKF Women’s Roundtable 👩🏽

Anja Hohenaker moderated a very interesting women’s roundtable where women could exchange experiences with each other. Julia Bewerunge from ClimatePartner, Katja Lammert from MEAG and Dr. Alexandra Hachmeister from Deutsche Bundesbank discussed why there is still a gap of women in leadership positions and in the next generation of leaders in the financial market and what impact this could have on the topic of ESG.

DKF takes Octoberfest – Sept 22 – Save the Date 🍻

On September 22, we are excited to bring to you the first ever DKF Oktoberfest! This will take place in the Schützenzelt on the Theresienwiese. At DKF Oktoberfest you will have the opportunity to participate in a very special Bavarian style networking.
