Job Description

Working closely with the sales and marketing teams, and reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Sales Engineer will be required to technically and commercially assist the sales process. From engaging with customers, understanding their requirements , demonstrating our solutions, solving problems and achieving customer satisfaction with outstanding sales results.  

The Pre Sales Engineer plays an instrumental role in the sales cycle, acting as a technical advisor and product advocate. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and customer-facing skills to effectively communicate product value to potential clients.

By understanding customer needs and demonstrating how a company’s solutions can meet them. This role will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing and Product Management to relay customer feedback and requirements. Currently hiring in US – New York, Boston, US Coast Remote, Belfast and London.


  • Collaborating with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
  • Supporting sales efforts and providing technical assistance to potential clients.
  • Developing and delivering product demonstrations to customers and prospects, tailored to their specific needs and requirements.
  • Conducting on-site and remote demonstrations, analyzing client requirements, and developing custom solutions.
  • Generating technical sales materials including product specifications, value propositions, and competitive positioning.
  • Proactively building and maintaining strong customer’s relationships
  • Managing customer’s expectations throughout pre and post-sales
  • Learning the technology used within the vertical markets and becoming a Subject Matter Expert
  • Assist with the responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Information (RFIs) with detailed technical solutions and pricing information.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the fintech, banking, or SaaS sectors, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to translate complex technical features into clear business benefits
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a flair for engaging and persuading executive-level decision-makers
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members
  • Highly collaborative team player with a proactive approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events


£35,000 - £55,000.
